I found myself at Dr. Annie's office after years of coping with heavy, irregular bleeding and cramping. My experience before meeting her was conflicting information regarding my diagnosis, and confusing, unhelpful next steps. It was emotionally exhausting, and my symptoms, regardless of what I tried, did not improve. Like many women, I had a lot of misinformation and ideas about what a hysterectomy is and how it would impact my health. Her straightforward and empathetic approach gave me the tools to make the right decision for my body and life. My hysterectomy has given me my life back, and I have absolutely no regrets.

As far as the actual surgery, I became anemic before the surgery and had to postpone it. Annie was incredible in accommodating the situation and getting me the care that I needed. My recovery after the surgery was fairly easy, and I felt like myself after just a few weeks. My scarring was minimal. Additionally, the after-care check-ins and conversations made me feel cared for in a way I deeply appreciate. I am more than confident in recommending Dr. Annie!

Dr. Kim is a direct, efficient, skilled, supportive and warm doctor/surgeon! She very successfully surgically removed (laparoscopic robotic Myomectomy) about 7 fibroids (ranging from large to small) from my uterus (that were crushing my bladder and ovary). I trust her as a surgeon and OBGYN. It was a pleasure to be in her care and even after only meeting my family for a minute before my surgery they felt comfortable with me in her care. I wouldn’t be healing so well and with such confidence only 2 weeks post surgery if it weren’t for Dr.Kim’s expertise and skill. So grateful! Thank you!
